About the Facilitators


Monika Gera, alumnus of IIMB, has nearly two decades of Research and Brand Strategy Consulting experience in both corporate and development sectors. She has consulted with organisations across geographies - India, UK, US, Singapore, with clients like Asian Paints, Tanishq, Bridgestone, TATA Chemicals, WIPRO, Centre of Gravity Consulting, to name a few. 


Parijat Sarkar, alumnus of TISS, has nearly two decades of experience in the development sector, building organisations, designing and implementing programs and campaigns using the lens of Systems and Design Thinking in the domains of Education, Livelihoods and Governance. She has worked and consulted with transformative social sector organisations like MAYA (Prajayatna, Labour Net, MAYA Organic), Ashoka Innovators for the Public, Kaivalya Education Foundation, Centre of Gravity Consulting, to name a few. 


This workshop will help you explore how you can bring together people's needs, technological possibilities and business viability, to design solutions that create a large impact. You will get the opportunity to learn from the real-time experiences of two experts in the field. 


Conducted by Abhishek Rai, alumnus of IIT K and IIM A, has 5+ years of experience in value investing and Shikha Gupta, alumnus of IIM A, works at the largest homegrown VC fund in India.

Learn to think intuitively about businesses by connecting financial information and estimate their value using appropriate method.

The workshop has been divided into 4 parts:
Part 1 (4 hrs): How to value a company : What matters & why?
Part 2 (4 hrs): Valuation tools: Techniques of Valuation - Intrinsic Value & Relative Multiples
Part 3 (1.5 hrs): Live in-class valuation of a listed company
Part 4 (0.5 hr): Finance sectoral / industry overview: jobs, requirements etc.
